Remedial massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue dysfunction
that cause pain and restrict human movement. The assessment part involves the
recording of comprehensive history, observation, palpation, motion testing and a range of
other physical testing procedures.

Remedial massage is usually covered by Private Health Funds under their “Extras”
packages. Kindly confirm that you are covered by your insurer. With the HICAPS facilities
in our clinic, you can make your private health rebate claim while having a consultation.
Yes, we have HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities in our clinic, you can make your private
health rebate claim and pay gap payment after a consultation.
During the assessment, the therapist will identify any places in which you are in pain or
uncomfortable to better understand your problem. Depending on the area of concern, the
therapist will evaluate your posture and movement while you stand or sit. If necessary,
they may also examine the muscles and bone structure on each side of your body. Move
specific body parts through their full range of motion to evaluate the range of motion.
Thereafter the therapist will discuss the plans, approaches, and areas that will be
covered in the session.
Yes it is safe for pregnancy but the safest to get a pregnant massage after the first
trimester. Some women may be adversely affected by the increased blood flow that
massages promote because of the elevated chance of miscarriage and increased health
concerns at this time. Massages are then considered to be safe and helpful for women
who are in their second or third trimester.

There is a one-hour limit on parking in front of our clinic on off-street spaces. However,
parking is unlimited from 136 Harp Road in Kew up to Harp Junction. Additionally,
Stradbroke Park, IGA Boccaccio Cellars, and Burke Road all have ample parking.
